The world's population continues to grow. The demand for power will grow in step with it. At the same time, we must reduce emissions. 2030 is not far away. And we are heading towards a power deficit on the way there.
We find ourselves in the midst of a challenging time. And with even tougher times ahead. This requires strategic planning, willingness to change, and quick decision-making. The energy sector is already a complex labyrinth, and the climate and environmental challenges complicate it further. The need for change and speed has never been more apparent.
Energy companies hold the key to solving many of these issues and steering the world towards a more sustainable future. However, transforming an entire company and industry is no easy feat. And gaining the entire organisation onboard adds another layer of complexity.

Aker Solutions
Accelerating Business Development with Futures design
As a key strategic pillar, and the driving force for accelerating Aker Solution's transition towards renewables — we helped the leadership team explore, challenge and get specific on the future of its new venture.
We developed a framework combining elements from business development, service design and brand strategy — to identify and challenge our beliefs about the future of this business. Using this framework, we were able to iteratively address and define everything from potential business models, products and services, to positioning and culture.
Everything came together in a tangible artefact, where we used storytelling, conceptualisation and design fiction to present the future business and its innovative offerings in a way that ignited the conversations needed to drive the change process.

Make a corporate strategy come to life
Skagerak Energi wanted to increase awareness, knowledge, and engagement around their new corporate strategy, to ensure implementation power and momentum towards 2030 across its 700 employees and subsidiaries.
Based on insight interviews and workshops, Manyone developed a communication strategy, assets and a toolbox for activation towards 2030 across channels and formats. The communication is in harmony with the existing vision, values, brand platform, and visual identity but still adds something new - without overcomplicating.
The strategic communication is launched at a time of climate crisis, nature crisis, and energy crisis, positioning Skagerak Energy as a future-oriented corporation that is not only part of the solution but also a driver for a big shift.
